I'm quite impressed, on some country lanes last night they offered much better low beam visibility almost comparable with previous high beam (it wasn't good).

I can't be done with the hassle of fitting HID's and fucking about with the existing wiring.

They made a massive difference to whatever generic bulbs were in previously, worth investing there about £15 I think and come with aidelight bulbs to!

I was really into golf mate, got down to 4 but was playing my local course to scratch/+1 consistently but at that handicap category it took forever to get my handicap down. I played in the volvo matchplay championship with a mate and got to the finals winning all our knockout matches and then missed out on going to portugal by letting It get to my head on the national final which was a betterball event which didn't suit our aggresive style of play soo much.

not played properly in well over a year as a result of being that pissed off about it but just started to practice again but as a result of gymage my swing has somewhat changed so having a few lessons to get back the consistency. You play mate?

Update

I fitted the 4 point harness tonight, it came with 4 eyebolts and 4 snap-on style clips for quick removal.

The two rear eyebolts fitted fine and I was off to a good start, I then had to remove the central armrest plastics to access the seat subframe bolt. The subframe bolt was a different thread size to the eyebolts that I had; Fury.. this was the same on the other front fixing point so I was stuck as I didn't have the bolt style harness fixings.

I then realised the rear holster brackets could be bolted to the front mounting points which would allow my harness to snap in place. I'm rather impatient so this seemed the right thing to do rather than ordering some, half finishing the job and having to wait till next week to fit them.

Rear belt holsters

Rear Belt Holsters once my impatience kicked in.

Bolted In place to suit snap-on harness fixing points.

Cusco rear strut brace ordered today, got a quote for flocking dash and pillars and going to get the centre console and armrest carbon dipped. Should really set off the bland interior and de-plastic it a little... should be done by end of the month!

Harness Fitted...

Dash and a-pillars are booked in for flocking closer to the end of the month

These are the 3 items that will be carbon dipped, can't decide if it will look best to flock the gear surround plastic though otherwise it may be overkill and tacky?

This to be flocked??

Then have just these two carbon dipped?

You have more balls than me.

If I had an Evo I would be doing Wheel and suspension mods only tbh.

Looking good though, the car though not you beefcake.

Both already done so have to move on to other things to satisfy the itch i'm afraid.

I know it's easy to say this now, but resale is not something i'm considering. I plan on keeping this for a very long time... even if it gets used less for weekends in the future.. so i'll make it exactly how I want it and not worry too much about the sell ability of it, however not wanting to ruin it obviously.

If worse comes to worse could always sell carbon, flocked items and replace with oem.

Made several investments last night/today, girlfriend is not impressed that more progress is being made with the car than booking a holiday.

Cusco Rear Strut Brace

Will fit for now but probably get powder coated i think when the wheels get done.

[/URL]

Evo 6 Pillar Pod with apexi gauges

Pod will be flocked so like new and i need to buy a couple of sensors (wiring included)

4 x Yokohama Advan A048 (235 45 17)

Absolutely massive group discount on these tyres so I bought a set of 4 for summer/track use. Couldn't find much of a review but I have 5mm of tread on the Toyo T1R's at the moment so there not needed but more of a set to burn on the track to keep the t1r's in suitable road condition.

Anyone used these?

Recieved the cusco, slightly delayed... in good condition minus the worn cusco sticker, going to give this a lick of black or white gloss paint to freshen it up as I'm not a fan of blingy chrome and then get it fitted.

Trying to locate the correct sensors for the apexi gauges so there not fitted yet, taking it to a friends tonight who is going to wire them up ready to be connected to the sensors.

Gave the rear strut brace and pillar pod a lick of paint last night.

Strut Brace is gloss and pillar pod is satin black just to tidy them both up.

Also got a short clip of some anti-lag launch flames I pulled from a short movie a friend made... apologies for background music.

Strut brace finished, need to fit later as my toolbox is at my mum and dads house, came out quite well. Decided to sell the gauges along with the pillar pod for a quick £50profit as I realised it wasn't the route I wanted to go. Rather have some gauges in the single din slot of the centre console.

However couple of photos of the rear strut brace after I refurbed it.

Today purchased a fire extinguisher and some standard top mounts to make the car eligible for CLASS A of the MLR Sprint Series.

I have decided to compete in it this year for the craic, a good day out and to enjoy the car with some competition thrown in.

My coil overs have adjustable top mounts which is not allowed in Class A hence the need for standard top mounts on the day of sprints otherwise I'm pushed into CLASS B which is a whole different ball game in which my car won't be as competitive.

Looking forward to the year ahead and getting a few sprints under my belt.

Quite a well organised and well structured series which I'm looking forward to.

Here are this years venues, which works on a points and leaderboard system for each class over the course of the series.

Booked in with PW Pro to be wrapped within the next two weeks, should look very fresh!

Will be having the wheels powder coated as well to match the wrap.

Just got to decide whether I want to wrap the bonnet to or leave it as is...

Excited.

It's a confirmed wrap, I'm wondering what it will look like in theory though until it's actually done
