Suppose this gives a visually accurate comparison, colour i'm opting for should look 'fresher' than just black though....
Much better with bonnet left standard between these two....

I agree with what Jamie said. Personally I wouldn't have the bonnet done, would look a lot cleaner and not as 'cheap' as mentioned earlier. Just my 2 pence

Agreed thats the plan, quite in expensive having blade and roof done to in comparison to what I thought it would be.

Defo don't get the bonnet done, car will not only look worse (imo) but it will look like you've gone for a copy on that other above, I do however like the bumper on the second Evo, that and a mitzo badge in your grill would look sqweeeet, bar the canards! *like them but, maybe a little too much for a road car*
Try not to do things for the sake of it, it's easy to fall in to that trap and end up with something that looks like the person was bored. Your car looks smart as is, although anthracite wheels and maybe some black to break up the silver would be good.
They say less is often more!

Bonnet is definitely no longer being done, just roof, spoiler blade and wheels refurbed anthracite or similar approved.
Been trying to locate an original front grill badge for some time. EARS Motorsport have them as they have loads of new oem parts but there about £30 for a small badge so I haven't got around to ordering one yet until i need some other bits to order with it.

Spontaneous purchase made today.....
Bought the gear shifter set-up from the possessed evo drag car. Will get some pics up when it comes but it should set off the interior a little.
Comprises of works short shifter and lever, ams gearnob and gear shift raiser kit.
Will make for a very short throw and elevate the gearstick as typically seen on drag cars, rallu cars etc.
If it's good enough for a 9 second evo it's good enough for me.

Not the best pic but gives an idea, should get it before the weekend
Will sit considerably higher than standard which should be a good feel and a much quicker shift.
This is it in action in the possessed evo which seems a nice height.

Sorry bro didn't see this,
That sounds fair, defo a no go on the bonnet, car looks sweet as it is!
That pic says to me, give me the £30 badge, remove the fog covers (assuming the lenses haven't been removed) and I can be left as is lol.
The Anthracite wheels will defo look good, but white looks motorsport!
Shifter looks sick. A skunk 2 gearknob would look good on that lol

The badge I agree, gonna give Dave @ EARS a bell and get one ordered.
I'm also going off the idea of wrap It all depends on what colour I get the wheels powder coated. I do like the white... just such a bitch to stay on top of.
The fogs are gone but there's good reason for the fog covers as there going to be air feeds I just still haven't got around to it yet, but should look very feisty once done.
It's an ams gear knob on it currently, evo lads literally fight over them as they are imported and even sell for £50 second hand.
I'll have a look out for this skunk 2 gearknob to compare and see which I prefer.
Also due to my manner of driving I have got thru a brand new set of Toyo's in 2500miles. The rears are on the wear bands and the fronts have 1-2mm of life left.
Fortunately I have just done a planning application for a local garage to have an MOT Station built. Payment is being made part tyres part cash so 4 New toyo's supplied, fitted and balanced and having the car full geo se-up again for a slightly different camber set-up this weekend
Think I'm gonna sell the track day Yoko's for now and spend on other areas of the car.

Well just sold the tyres been pay-palled a deposit and meeting the guy at some services later to give him the tyres.
Got them for £264 and sold them for £600 so a tidy little quick sale profit.
Freed up some cash to waste on the evo so will see a bit more progress over the coming weeks. Instead of wasting money I want to really just get it as clean as possible.
TO DO LIST
-Fit New Tyres (Saturday)
-Fit Works Quick Shift Assembly (This weekend if received)
-Refurb Wheels (This month)
-Respray Rear Bumper (Slight scuff on it which I want to address)
-Flocking/Carbon Dip Interior (This month)
-Fit Mitsubishi Front Grill Badge (Ordered Today, fit upon arrival)
-Order new boss, snap-off boss and deep dish steering wheel (this month)
-Begin to spruce up the engine bay.
Now undecided on the roof and spoiler wrap having thought about it. Going to focus on sprucing up the interior and engine bay as externally the car is sound and i'll be doing stuff for the sake of it.

This car is certainly not neglected! Fair play to you, plans sound good, and I definitely with the bit in red!

Fear Not.
I did a planning application for a local garage recently for them to build an MOT Testing Station. Struck a deal with them as they have a lot of TOYO stock.
After speaking with Danny (Mochachinolattefrappe) on Facebook I phoned the garage and asked them if I could have R1R tyres instead of T1R tyres to which they have agreed. So I can basically have 3 sets of Toyo Tyres of my choice (2 Road Sets & 1 Track Set.
Soo...
2 x sets of R1R/T1R depending on which I prefer when I go to the garage
1 x sets of Toyo R888's for the track whenever I want them.
Even got my dad 2 x Michelin Pilot Sport 3'S for his merc
So the Yoko's are really surplus to requirements and sat in my living room making me want to put them on and misbehave, so are now sold.
It made sense to strike up such a deal as the car will never go without tyres then

Cheers Chris, hopefully if I look after it, it will look after me. I actually enjoy spending money on service parts for this and the old man loves working on it. So it's good for a bit of father/son bonding now as I don't see him a great deal nowadays.

Legal number plates have arrived, slightly bigger than my old ones so will have to see how well they fit this weekend.
Mitsubishi badge sourced down at my dads scrapyard off an old Pajero, saves me £30 for a Mitsi replacement.
Tyres getting changed at 10am tomorrow, whilst it's there getting the suspension lowered slightly, a touch more negative camber and have it full geo set-up AGAIN to some recommended settings I have been given off the forum, as i'm not completely happy with how it was set up last time they did it.
The front 2 tyres have a decent bit of tread left but the rears are almost at the wear bands. So i'll save the used front 2 for now as I'm looking to buy a spare set of 17's as a second set of wheels.
Always handy to have a couple sets of wheels, and i'll need a set for track and set for road anyway.
Gear shifter is due to be delivered Monday, should look cool when fitted!!
