Oil catch can are they worth it.

From what I have been seeing about them in terms of catching that bit of oil and making claims for a cleaner burn so forth ie no oil in filter part or other areas. Do these actually work and are they worth installing?

Not really. Most people use them when they are running aftermarket induction kits which don't have connections for the breather hoses.

I have a KNC air filter in but noticed its wet though well not soaking wet but damp sort of speak but this is fitted to normal aibox and flits in. Cleaned the filter out and re done it with the spray can stuff to clean etc.

imo, unless your rings are shagged and its chuffing like a train out the oilcap, i havent found any need myself, if your engine has been well looked after blowby should by minimal, so it shouldnt eat too much oil, on the 8v if you remove the baffle plate above the rockers mind you it will eat through a litre of oil a week, experience taught me that one...

i have an induction kit and i do check the inlet and throttle body now and again to make sure its all clean, and it usually is bar a bit of light soiling, and i just ran the pcv about 4 inches before the throttle body
