Default Oil filter conversion

Hi everybody
Just done an oil filter conversion on my vtr but struggled to tap the return hole i did eventually but not very well at all. My question is what sort of pressure is going on in that area of the block and is it safe to use?? Any help/advice would be apreciated.
Cheers

the return hole shouldnt be pressurised at all, its only running the flow return back to the sump

its only really gonna see crank case air pressure which should be pretty low unless youre engine is fucked lol

but ideally it needs to be blocked up in a decent way. if you lose a chunk of oil your engine will be dead before youve realised theres a problem

Ok ideal my engine is fairly healthy we'll serviced with good oil and parts.

Mmm ok I'll keep a close eye on it for a few days then. If not and it does go just an excuse to 16v it I spose.

Drill the hole and re-tap it if your not happy with the fit. As long as the bolt is held in nice and tight you won't have any problems.
