No they use a lot more than a normal car, as the oil is injected in to the engine during running to lubricate the rotors

That looks great. Bit better looking than normal 1s due to the kit. Lovely colour too.

I was actually thinking about 1 of these recently after selling my 205, but just couldn't convince myself it would be a wise choice. The thought of it breaking would always be in the back of my head which would put me off driving it, been there done that.

Bet you didn't want an 06> car eh lol. Fuck that, £260 ish for 6 months tax.

Yeah I'm on the rx8 owners forum I've read about premix, revvin it out most drives and all about coils an leads

I would say it only uses a touch more oil than the type r did

I've read about an watched videos with v8s in them an would love to do it but I've not enough money skill or time to do it

No don't need to rev it before you switch it off but you can't start the car from cold an then switch it off before it's started to heat up or it'll flood the engine an then won't start

Redline a day keeps the carbon away.

True story.

Managed to get the oil an filter changed on the car couple of days ago
Fitted the new magnetic sump plug while I was at it, was all easily accessible which is good if I'll be doing it often.

But someone didn't like my rx8

Yeah it's alright
Not done much more to it after changing the oil
I have got new rear disc an pads to fit, also have new gear oil and diff oil so need to get them changed next.

Finally have the coils, leads and spark plugs here to change so that's the ignition stuff that can fail all dealt with.

Love these it's definitely an itch I want to scratch. Also don't know why people are mentioning depreciation, they have already depreciated lol and for the price you can get them now you can't get much more fun for the money, plus 9,000rpm and the noise.
If it goes bang swap your mods onto another car, simples.

Good getting the 230 too, LSD arse out fun.

Cheers

I would really like more induction noise but they don't respond well to many kits an the ones that do cost a fortune!

I would say there is probably loads of wee jobs that would all add up £ wise but I'm reluctant to do them incase it does go bang lol or I get rid
