Default OEM Tyres & other tyre questions

Does anyone know what tyres the VTR originally came with?

The VTR I've just bought has 4 different brand tyres on it.

Looking about there seems to be a restricted choice of 55 section tyres, a lot more for 60 sections, would that be a bad move?

Winter tyres are they worth it?

And finally how easy is it to get VTR wheels balanced these days, back in '97 when I had my first VTR not even the Citroen dealer could balance them

theres a place near me that balances centreless wheels, but he has to spend 5 minutes dismantling the machine!

i've run a 60 profile on mine and it wasn't too much different, did look a lot fatter though
