Default Rebuilding the rear beam

I've recently purchased a rear beam that I have stripped down ready to rebuild.

All the bearings are practically new and all that's needed is a re-grease of the trailing arms and grease the splines on the end of the torsion bars.

Question is what grease should I use to grease the trailing arm bearings? And what grease should I use on the torsion splines and anti-roll bar?

I've spotted a few flaws that I can remedy to prevent any water and dirt ingress that will reduce if not eradicate the chance of the torsion bars seizing and the trailing arm bearings failing prematurely

I have a few tubes of Wurth lithium grease in my stores so will cross reference against the Castrol stuff from Tweeks and if it's suitable I will use that. If not my friends brother works at Tweeks so will get some ordered.

Thank you for the advice

Unless you've got access to a press just dump it

why? unless you need to replace the stubs, a press isn't needed. yes its easier and quicker to use a press. but patience and a hammer does the job just fine.

before buying anything though i will advise on stripping the beam to check the condition of the stubs.

Just a word before you start - I've probably built around 5 and ALL of them needed new pins.

1 or maybe even 2 could have been re-used but they would have worn the bearings out pretty quickly. The other 3 were absolutely trashed.

The chances of getting second hand beam these days with usable pins is extremely unlikely.
