I've managed to get another grill. just to clarify, the tabs where the screws are that you use to mount the grill are left there and you have to cut around them?

Also the little bits that are melted down to hold everything together are ok to be ground off?

i did this yesterday and got a bi confused so i just cut around the screw mounts as best i could and it worked fine, the tabs ou can't even see. also its fine to grind/cut them off.the both parts attach back together using the screws you use to put the grill back on to the bonnet so...hope it helps...hope it dont confuse you more lol or hope you havent already done it and messed it up lol
