doesnt look as good using that method as most the light comes from the front and only takes 15secs if that to hacksaw off, if not get the flat ended ones

One for each of the buttons. The heater console & 'cigar' (u old man) lighter are lit up by 2 clear bulbs shining through coloured covers (steves working on the cig lighter one atm so stay tuned) and i might have alittle plan for the heater console too, although you could quite easily have a bash at making a replacement cover for it in new colours
Off the top of my head there are more inside the elecy mirrors switch on the driverside & the headlight aim switch down thew steering column, dont know what kinda LED is behind them though although im woulnd imagine in both cases its those minature ones again.

done mine no real problem its fairly easy job.I've put in so ones that change colour to see what they look like, looks pritty good imo ill be changing them to blue when i get my new dials,i just wanted to see if they would work tbh. ive got a video i just dont know how to upload it as im a newbie.ive got it on my photobucket just i cant seem to get it to work on here.
rear screen switch was a bit of a bastard,i should of trimmed down the legs before as it was stopping the switch from working properly.ive tucked it al away now and it seems fine.
btw i used a grinding wheel to take down the leds and holder, took seconds to do 5 leds.i found if fiddly to cut them
