De-Wipering Guide
1) Order the following part numbers from Peugeot, shouldn't cost you more than a fiver
874542- Plug
874543- Washer
874544- Screw/nut
* Please note that these parts are becoming harder to find, there are alternatives like rubber grommets which are available from halfords, just ask for the pack of 19mm, 22mm and 24mm grommits, there about £1.49 and will do the job just as good *
2) Disconnect Battery.
3) Open the boot and remove the boot panel, its held in by 3 torx screws, 1 on either side and 1 in the handle.
4) Close boot, on mk2s lift up the cover to reveal the nut that secures the wiper to the motor, undo the nut, if the wiper arm doesn't come off and seems stuck spray on some WD40 and leave it to loosen it up, if it still doesn't come off buy a puller from halfords (use it and then take it back lol) if that doesn't work just hacksaw it off closest to the spindle as you can being careful not to slip and damage paintwork.
5) Pull off the little washer, and open the boot again disconnect the wiring plug from motor and tape it up with some insulation tape, undo the two bolts holding the motor in and take out the motor, put the nuts back on the bolts so you dont lose them.
6) Now take the peugeot parts and put the washer and plug on the outside and secure with the screw/nut on the inside, put the boot panel back on and connect the battery back up and thats it
Sorry i haven't got any progress pictures but heres the finished article
