rolf, i was using either
canon 5D + 24-105L lens
canon 30D + 70-200 f2.8 IS L lens.

haha! i was quite pleased tbh, ive never shot cycling before, and anyone who saw what angles i was leaning over to get the shots would have pissed themselves laughing, i was at such a funked up angle i couldnt hold a camera in portrait or i just crippled myself

what will piss the french off more is david millar having the red and white jersey for king of the mountains atm!

i love my 30D when it works!
the key being when! ive had 2 big faults with it in a year, most are meant to be bullet proof.
I think in a year or two i may upgrade to a 1D mk2/3 depending on how skint uni makes me. Full frame for the win!

do you know if it'll be perma addition to the tour or was it a one off as a mark of respect by the french about how great we are?

last time the tour started here was 1994. I may travel to paris in 3 weeks for the final leg, not sure.
should have deffo poped down, was a good day! wish id been better positioned to get nice pics though
