Default Sound deadening

Anyone used the cheaper sound deadening from eBay? (Sound barrier, rattle matt etc)

How does this compare to dynamat, brown bread etc?

Look to order a load and trying to keep costs down. If it's shite then I'll get the known stuff

I've actually used a few rolls of roofing felt stuff (no troll) - made a good difference and was cheap as fuck. Depends on your budget obviously

Yeah. Flashing tape that's it.

Obviously not as good as the proper stuff but about 1/10th of the price and takes all the "zingyness" out of the panels.

A good cheap way is to use proper deadening and flashing tape, just use the deadening on about 35-40% of any big areas and flashing tape for everywhere else

I think I'm gonna go for "sound barrier" from eBay, not too expensive
