Default Saxos Lock Keypad - immobiliser

i don't get it; does all the saxo's come with the Locking keypad ( immobiliser ) in front of the gearbox ?

Noop, only the older ones, about R-T reg i think.

After that, it was built into the key, with a box behind the dash to recognize when the key was there, to let the car start

Nah my old mk 1 t reg didnt have one but my R reg one had one. Guess T was the crossover year

I had a V reg which was the cross over year, and mine was mk1, didn't have one..

My mate had an S reg R, and that had one, another had a T reg and it didn't.. So i'm guessing S-T was the cross over where they got rid of them

Sure there's a guide somewhere how you can take your keypad out if you want
