exactly lol.. i bet icecool works for halfrauds.. his occupation is "audio fitter".. halfrauds are shite tbh.. blew my mates sub up, and wouldnt pay for a new one.. they set his amp up because he didnt know how to, and said "if you keep your gain all the way up itll be louder"  what twats lol

haha! Power caps! Oh dear...
Basically, power caps are "supposed" to build up a reserve of poer for the amp, so that when the amp is under heavy load it has the power there ready for the taking! If it actually worked like this then we would all have them!
However...
You know when you're blasting the bass at night and your lights are constantly dimming with the bass, or when the engine starts to struggle due to the massive load, well when you have a power cap, the whole electrical system is basically being abused as if the amp is on full load, even when its not, cus its trying to fill up the power cap. So rather than the lights dimming, they stay dim all the time, and rather than the engine struglling on big bass notes, it struggles all the time!

its gotta be one of them amps like, dun so probs summit jblo if i can get one yet like. iv just had to pay for a forklift licence lol im searchin for a sub atm actually lol i want to stick with one make tho
