Default Help need please 12-10-08

Right finally got a car sorted so in a few months I'll be looking to update the sound system.

Will be running off this head unit (as recommended by a few of you)

http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/pion...ub-p-6312.html

Will have about £300 - £400 to spend most likely not including the head unit I'll buy that before.

Consisting of Sub,Amp,Comps plus anything else needed.

Does the type of music I listen to make any difference to what parts are chosen?

If you can save me some money also please do.

EDIT Changed mind only want to spend £200 - £300.

Hi mate,

That budget should get you some good quality gear!

You need to tell us exactly what you want from your setup, and yes, it does make a difference what music you listen to

Im not really sure what you mean by what I want I'm no ICE expert.

Now thats quite a variety tbh, so i would be inclined to go with a sealed box. It will have the potential to drop to the low demading bass lines of metal, while remaining tight for the bass drums kicks, which are plentyfull to say the least! Lol

Dance music is also quite demanding as there is a variety of high and low basslines, so with this in mind deffo go for 2 x JBL GT4's in sealed boxes!

Okie dokie I noticed after I posted.

Less money and less equipment would be great though.

I didn't relise how much stuff you could get for £400.

Would budget of £200 - £300 get me anything decent?

You could go with these comps

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/JBL-GTO-507c-1...3286.m14.l1318

Get the 2 channel amp from here
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/JBL-75-2-2-CHA...3286.m14.l1318

And get this amp to power the subs
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/JBL-GTO601-1-M...3286.m14.l1318

Thats saved you about £100 or so
