Default Any good?? Opinions please...

Hi all,

I have the chance to get a JBL GT4 1000W Sub and GTO 400W amp for £70. Are they any good?? Is that a good price??

Ive currently got the fusion twin subs and fusion 400W amp - is the JBL setup better than ive already got??

Many thanks

Baz

yeah the jbl is better but might want a new amp as jbl gt4s can take an amazing amount of power, people have put 700rms through them and theyve lived tho this might not be a safe idea. i doubt the 400w (is it a gto 2000?) will make much sound

if its the sub in a box already AND its a gt4 12" then yes its a okay deal but i'd use the amp to power something else and get a monoblock from somewhere else for the sub, also try offering him a bit less. dont expect the jbl to be much better than your fusions untill youve got a better amp

if its just the sub driver and amp then forget it
