Default Ipod Problems
Right, Have a Kenwood KDC-W6541U, the USB connection worked fine for about 4 months, then a the missus plugged her MP3 (not ipod) into it and that didnt work, so i plugged my Ipod back in, and that hasnt worked since, all I get is 'Reading' for ages... Any ideas? I have E-mailed Kenwood but wondering if anyone on here could help.

reboot ipod. see if that helps?

lock - unlock - hold menu and enter

Tried it... Anyone other ideas? Sucks not having my music on my ipod.

take the battery out of the car for 5mins... reset headunit?

Try with a different ipod?

Then if that doesnt work, try a new USB cable.

If that doesnt work you know its your Head Unit.
