Was wondering if any1 has these, and if they are worth the extra bit of money compaired to the cheeper jbl ones. Cheers

the current speakers are coaxial and not made for bass, im guessing this is where your problem is comming from

the settings on a HU should usually be set up with -1 bass, +2 trebble or something along those lines (on a standard 2band EQ)

anyway, a form of component speaker amped up would be the ideal way to acheive the best form of sound staging and quality up front, obv depending how big your budget is

JBL components are very good, imo the best value for money, but if you can get an amp pushing out 2 x 100wrms @ 4ohms, id go for these - http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/dyna...k9pr66dcut6e13

theyve got very powerful midbass, with a not too harsh tweeter set up, very good speakers

okie doke, how would i amp them up? by using the preout from the headunit and run new speaker wires through the doors back to the boot were the amp is? Cheers mate
