Default Help needed..

I've got a 4 channel amp and searching for a new head unit..

I'll be amping my front comps and 6x9's.. a sub will be used at later date!

Does this mean i need a head unit with at least 2 RCA preouts?

Thanks

If i remember correctly, when doing mine, youll need 2 pre-outs for the components and 6x9's (going to the one amp) and the 1 other pre-out, think its usually called sub pre-out for you sub amp. So thats 3 pre-outs in total.

You can use RCA splitters (1 into 2) but i think it doesnt allow you to control both the components and 6x9's induvidually.

Sure someone can explain it better than me. Hope this helps.

you'll need a pre out for every amp you're running, if you're running a two channel amp i'm guessing you'll put the 6x9s and the comps on the same amp, so will only use one preout for one set of amp rca cables,

Yep that makes sense because i connected everything up to my old headunit and tried fading the comps to hear the 6x9's and it controlled both of them.

Thanks for clearing that up
