Yes, but the acrylic doesn't actually rest on the amp, it rests on little corner brackets..
and i don't have a router, so i drilled a whole out and then used a jigsaw...
But yes you get the idea

i know the amp will rest on a support piece on the floor....speaking of with will i need some sort of fan as the amps can get hot? if so what type of fan? like what is in a computer would that be good enough or a more heavy duty one?

you can buy fans from ICE shops on the net, they are basically computer fans though

I haven't got a fan for mine, i really dont think they are strictly necessary, my amp is not in a really tight enclosure, it has plenty of air surrounding it...
if you thought you wanted one, then they sell computer fans (12v - which would work fine) on ebay for about £3 each..they should be sufficient...

Screw the wooden legs to the false floor mdf board... but there is no need to attatch it to the car, if it is a reasonably tight fit it shouldn't slide around, especially if you leave the existing boot carpet in...

not screwed or attatched to any thing. the new floor is a very tight fit and the subs and boxes weigh alot so i didn't see any need to attach anything.
i did put rubber strips on the top of the uprights to stop vibration but that is it.
