Well another Saturday morning bit the dust!

Started by putting my standard lights back in for the MOT, then secured the CDA properly, zip tied the PAS filler somewhere, although I realy should get a new bracket for it.

I then tightened and checked all of the brake pipes and braided lines.

Then I got underneath it and connected the handbrake cables again, which took aaaaaages as I don't have a jazzy ratchet spanner

As I finished that D4MJT turned up and he put my new rear pads in, we then flushed the brakes and filled them with sexy AP 5.1 stuff

Once he left I replaced the front ABS sensor that was duff, annoyingly both the handbrake & ABS lights are still on!

bah!

Have you got a diagnostics machine plugged in to erase the fault codes?

ABS on a Saxo is just another thing to go wrong

Get a proper diagnostics machine plugged in. Obviously there are stored codes in the ECU or the ABS light won't be on

You getting resistance across each of the sensors when you check with a multimeter? There's a plug behind the battery you can pull out which will let you check them all individually.

When you change a rogered sensor, you sometimes need to drive the car a mile or two before the light goes out.

Does the fault code automatically erase when the fault is rectified, like Fords do?

By the way, regarding the car, I like your OMP seats

Also I've never had experience with semi slicks, need some in my life! lol

I did the test from the plug and there's resistance there, no tax or MOT so a few miles is tricky unless I Ferris Bueller it!

I don't know, but the battery is off until saturday and people say that unplugging it for a half hour clears ecu errors?

More bits and bobs this weekend!

Got my pull handles in so I can actually shut the doors!

Then I set about fitting my OEM fog blanks, which was a nightmare as the inner lip on them is tiny, self tappers on the inside, not pretty on the back but secure, I noticed behind the passenger one there's a load of space! Airfeed maybe?

Then I whipped up a tyre place and got the 888s on

Yey!
