Sure Vista 32bit can only use up to 3gb of ram then for anymore 64bit has to be used.

If you want to check whether your OS/processor is 32 bit or 64 bit go to Run and type dxdiag and hit enter. On the System dialogue box you will seee the decription of your operating system and your processor.

If it says Miscrosoft Windows XP/Vista x-64 or 64bit or titanium than your system is 64 bit. If it doesnt than its 32 bit.
