first person shooters
Ok what are your favourite FPS games? I'm really into them at the moment, so could do with recommendations?  I've got Fear, and the 2 add ons, extraction point and perseus mandate. I just got timeshift today which i really enjoying, i've got all the Call of dutys and medal of honors, Bioshock, Farcrys, and prey. Is there anymore FPS games that are definately worth a buy? I'm thinkin of getting that left for dead. Its got awesome reviews. Anybody played this?

all time ... has to be quake 3 for me. beating them yanks online was a great thing esp when they were using BB and i was using 56k... l33t

L4D is really good online.
I tend to suck at FPS online except L4D.
Ive got Halo 3, FEAR2, CoD 4 and Condemned: Bloodshot 2

Oh sorry lol. Yeah i heard it was better for online gaming rather than single player? I had Halo, but i wasn't too keen on that. I tried ghost recon too, but didn't do anything fo me either

I enjoyed single palyer but some people are so picky at new games these days, hard to please everybody.

sorry for double post guys. Who has got Left 4 Dead? And do you need that steam thing to play it? I remember when i got half life 2, and it was an absolute nightmare getting it going, but my PC was much slower then, but do you need it to play Left 4 Dead? Thanks

CSS, can't really get bored of it if you play competitively, there is a good 'scene' aswel.
L4D, is good for a laugh
team fortress 2, also really good for a laugh
hmm the source engine is the best
