Default It's that time again

To get my arse in gear and get fit again.

I previously went from 15st 2lbs to 11st 8lbs and was training like feck......I took up boxing and got my amateur licence but never even got to fight as i broke my wrist at knockhill and the boxing kind of stopped there.

But I kept up the running and stayed very fit up until about the time I crashed my thou.i was hovering around 12st at the time and I'm now up to 13st 5lbs

I was 13st 9lbs but this last week I've lost 4lbs

Right my plan is once I get my dressings off which is "fook knows" I'll start training like fook, running, boxing training which will consist of bag work, shadow boxing, rope work etc etc.

I'm going to put the bag up out back so I need to get a wall bracket.

This last week I've been watching what I've been eating and staying away from juice, sweets, crisps etc and that's knocked off 4lbs so if I can keep this up until the dressings come off I'll be chuffed.

My goal is to get back down to 11st 7lbs again and brush up on my boxing skills and be able to run like I use to.

Shortly after my last post it went tits up

Started eating like feck as you do and went up to 13st 13lbs so I then decided to start jogging again.

I was waiting until I got my dressings off for good but I couldn't wait any longer, they are off now so since then I've been jogging 2-3 times per week.i usually try and jog every second day and I've been sticking to that pretty much.

So the goal is 12st by the end of the year but we will see.im struggling with my diet,if I could keep away from the shit I should manage a decent weight loss but so far it ain't going to plan.i think this Monday coming will be 4wks jogging so I.l see what my weight is.

In comparison to before I'm about 50% slower with my pace at jogging but the main thing is I'm doing the distance and putting the effort in.

I average 4miles each jog so I'm happy with that,I never stop and just adjust my pace accordingly if I'm struggling a bit.

Jogging will improve your fitness more than fat loss. You need to be doing HIIT to target fat.

Bugger that

The hill that is out back is a whore of a hill, its a bastard to walk up let alone run up.

There is a hill race each year that incorporates it and fook knows how they manage it.

I thought I'd update this......

I've been training quite hard of late with a mixture of jogging, high intensity circuit training, jump rope and shadow boxing.

When I started the fitness again back in October,my 5k times were roughly 30 mins which I've now dropped to just above the 24 min mark.

My pb for 5k is 20:06 when I was roughly 12st so I've got something to work towards,I really want to beat my pb and get below the 20 min mark and I reckon the other training is helping me.

My weight is roughly 13st so I'm pleased with the current times,if I get down to nearer 12st again I'm fairly confident I'll smash my pb.
