Saxo VTS / 106 Gti engine loom position

Ive just completed modifications on my 106 Gti engine loom allowing the ECU to be mounted behind the glove box, I have offered the loom up to the bulk head but can't remember if the loom was mounted onto the engine + gearbox and not mounted to the bulkhead / car body in any way.

Could anyone clarify if the loom is only mounted to the engine and box? I've trawled through loads of photographs that appear to show some of the loom mounted onto the gearbox but can't seem to find anything else.

Engine hasn't been installed yet.
