New shoes time for the old barge yesterday, basically the Falkens on the back didn't let me plant my foot in the dry without the traction going mental.
The car came with some Pirelli Pzeros, I was informed that the (J) stood for Jaguar, but I should be reet!
A good opportunity to have a mooch behind the wheels, 370mm discs and comedy 2 pot calipers, these will be getting painted!
And a quick check on the rear of the wheels made sure that they were the real BBS deal, they're very light, sadly I didn't have a chance to weigh them!
Such dish, such width!
Sadly it's been wet since I had them fitted 
Oh, and also I've found out that oil usage of up to 2.5l per 1000 miles is common, sweet!

it's basically twice the cost of running a 320d (ish), I can live with it
Insurance was the same £500
Road tax is £500
Warranty is £90 a month (maintains the lower price v paying it yearly, bizarre)
Fuel is about 13mpg * 1000 miles a month
Oil is £7.50 a litre in bulk, it's using about 1.5 per 1000 miles

That's a lot of oil to use isn't it - is that normal on an m5?
I get annoyed if I have to top up between services, only car I've owned that needed that was a Cooper S...
Unreal car though regardless
