How about a permanent section dealing with this and what solutions can be offered.

You may already have this but what about a guide of what Mods are road legal and what aren't & what Mods will fail an MOT?

Quick search of the forums will answer the 3 stud problem.

The MOT section is a tricky one because there are obvious things such as no catalyst or wheels scrubbing on the arches, alot of mods will pass or fail depending on how the tester is feeling and if he's had a good or bad day! Also, if Simo stated that Mod X would pass an MOT, you did the mod and it failed it could be awkward. Most people on the site can offer advice from previous experiences with MOTs and you can just ask in the forums if theres a particular mod you're worried about passing.
