Default mk1 front end on 02 plate vts

I just bought a shed full of saxo parts for £40, it came with a full bodykit for a mk1, wings, bonnet, bumpers and skirts, slam panel, lights the lot. The bloke i got it off said it was just a bolt on fit onto my mk2 vts and showed me a picture of how he did the same to his mk2. However i am not so sure it will be as easy as he says. Is it just a bolt on fit? sorry for the essay!

Cutting of inner wings is required if you put a mk2 front end on a mk1.

As you're doing it the other way round.
It will just mean that the inner wings will finish slightly shorter.
Which is not a problem

have a search for AlexB's old black vtr progress thread, he did the same.

You will need to have the 2 panels from the mk1 to bolt the slam panel on with you can weld them or rivet them and they are £13 from Citroen each

You can do it just bolting up the slam panel to the wings
But the actual chassis does stop short to do it perfectly you need to tac in the mark 1 panels or just make an extension

But its not an issue to just bolt them together tbh i ran mine like it for a few weeks lol
