Need help ASAp if you consider yourself a computer geek. Laptop advice....
Now Im no idiot when it comes to computers but I have NEVER bought a new laptop before. I need some advice. i've been looking around at something with the i3 processor as I've read into it and they're meant to be very good quality processors for the price and fast. I am thinking of buying this one:
HP Laptop - eBuyer
Before I do buy it is there anything else out there for the same sort of price or any reason why this isnt a good buy?
It's received a lot of 5 star reviews.
Your help will be much appreciated but if you don't know enough then please dont comment as I want to make sure I buy the right one without throwing 3-400 quid down the drain.

I always use ebuyer, it seems to be the cheapest! 3 cores and 3gb of ram will be enough for everyday usage.. not like you'd be playing games on it?

LOL ive just this second placed the order, DV6-3130 and Kaspersky IS2012.
Why is it LOL anyway? I couldn't find a cheaper refurbed one anywhere, the brand new version retails @ £699 iirc? So, how are they crooks?
Can't really say it's a bad spec for 500 squid?

For the money you cant grumble with that. It'll do all your MS office type working needs very well.

That ones a bit out my price range. Seems an ok price for an i5.
With regards to PC World, the sales staff dont know much but the technical guys know a fair bit and I was advised about certain specs that PC World didnt offer.
Gonna put the order in as soon as my new bank card arrives.

Im sitting on it right now lol, its great few pros & cons though.
Battery life is worse than my iphone 4
Sound from laptop spekers is woefully bad, but im not arsed as I use other seperate speakers.
Gets REAL hot REAL quick
but..display is awesome, i5 is so quick & currently making a track in Reason 5..yes Manu, it hasnt crashed.......yet.

it aint 3 cores it's a suped up core 2 duo. 2cores.
Seems a good price, spec is good and laptop looks nice.
