iPod help please guys... - Saxperience

Ok, so yesterday I couldn't find the correct USB for my iPod for my computer, so I used my iPhone lead instead, which, worked at first, but then instead of unplugging it securely, I just pulled it out.

I think it has somehow corrupted it, as I now plug in my normal lead, it just doesn't even come up, only as a 'mass storage device', no iTunes pops up, or even recognises it.

Is there a way I can re-format it? My iPod is my bloody life at the minute, so any help would be much appreciated.

My screen on my iPod doesn't work so I can tell how to reset it. Thanks.

Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
Press and hold the Play/Pause and Menu buttons simultaneously until the Apple/iPod logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step
