Due to scammage hows about a proof of i.d and address for all users to make sax-p a safer place ,,, All sales to have a reciete of postage no matter what ...

I wouldnt really like posting up my driving license or passport on a public forum for any scamming cunt to be able to read.

Address is more acceptable but id rather not give it out to every single person i make a transaction with. Havnt heard of any scamming recently.

Only happens when poeple are thick enough to pay by paypal gift. Providing you're not thick you shouldnt get scammed.

The site could have a scheme where you confirm your ID with them as a third party, wouldn't want to share that info with buyers or sellers in case it turned sour.

My ID is private to me, I wouldnt want to put it up with all my details there. Its like putting your Bank Card details on, identity fraud etc. Completley wrong idea.

Only possible way it could work is through saxp, like in premium members saxp gets the user address. Could be out of date though.

But whats preventing ID from a scam happening? That nicolashewiitt everyone knew his address and phone number etc but it didnt stop him from scamming.

There is nothing you can do to prevent a scam apart form meet in person.

Pay with a secure payment like paypal goods etc where you have cover and you wont have a problem if you get ripped off. Its so simple that i cant get my head around why poeple still get scammed and how they cant work out how not to get scammed lol

I'd happily use the same system as paypal for peace of mind, they ring you on your landline and give you a code that you then input into your account to confirm your address.

All this would mean even more work for admin/mods, and would also mean that they were taking responsability for anything that goes wrong with regards to sales.
As the rules state, they accept no liability for people getting scammed, if you feel this is not to your liking, merely a case of don't buy things off here..
