Default .mpg to .mp4 (mpeg4)

Just ripped loads of camcorder footage as .mpg and good old macbook wants .mp4.

Anyone got a link to a good convertor which:
- is free
- is pc compatible as gonna convert it on desktop
- doesnt leave any watermarks
- ideally can record 10 min clips continuously, none of this 30 second stuff.

Thankyou people, google gives me so many and I dont trust half of them will do anything like they claim too.

why not import them into iMovie from the camcorder? I'm sure there's an option that lets you do that.

Assuming iMovie just needs them in H264, virtual dub will do the job no probs.

http://www.virtualdub.org/

All you need to do is install the correct codecs on your PC as virtual dub does not come ram packed with codecs.
