Dedicated Server Hosting - Saxperience

Im getting sick with my current hosts.
Right now im fighting the race to download a backup before the hard drive fails.

Would people with accounts on dedicated machines please recommend companies to use and prices.

Spec:
Cpanel server frontend
Disk Usage: 1000-1500mb
Bandwidth: 10-15GB a month

Need the usual such as MySQL, php etc.

I've heard IX hosting are pretty good, weve got a few sites hosted there at our place.

This isn't the package i've got.. but.. still looks pretty good

Intel Core2Duo E8400 3.0Ghz

* 2GB RAM 800mhz
* 250GB Hard Drive
* 2 Cores + 1333Mhz FSB
* 2000GB Transfer
* 5 IPS
* 100MB Port

$137.50 per month!

Think mine has 20mb unmetered port/transfer, 4gb of RAM, dual core processor.. mostly uprated parts.. Pay iirc $250-$300 per month.

Don't have many problems with them if i'm honest.. and when i do, they're very quick to sort it (within the hour) once you let them know the problem.

Very good. But more than i was expecting to pay.

What's your budget?
UK / EU / USA Bandwidth?
Would a VPS be more suitable in the cost comparison?

Let me know the above and I'll see what I have laying around..

If you do go for VPS you could try host-V www.hostv.com, their dedis are out of budget.. also with VPS the 50PROMO code gets you 50% off first payment.
