looks nice. I am of the same opinion of it as i am with all the of apple "I" products which basically boils down to why should I buy any of them when in a months time they will have released another 8 thousand update products for the one I have just paid good money for.
I have a 4gb nano which is already obsolette and a 30gb ipod video i was given a work which i havent even opened yet and its already pretty much defunct.

I had a play on the iphone last week as my stepdad was given one (manager for o2) and I was quite impressed. Its quite big but its ok as its touch screen. The camera looks good on the screen, the mp3 player is very impressive, it seemed ok but not really my cup of tea....and theres no games!

I would personally wait a few months and see how tey fare up reliability wise.
If it's anything like their I Pods, I give them a 2 month lifespan before problems start to occur

Doubt they will drop in price.....as they are set to a contract and wont be available sim free unless you buy off ebay and have it unlocked....but you will be looking at 300-400 quid on ebay for a few months to come yet
