They have a rather decent amount of power, much faster than a vts.

Its already been re-mapped? i wonder how much of a difference that made unless youve driven a standard one too? what sort of power is it running?

Nice, shame it's yellow though, could never have a yellow motor, let alone yellow interior too.
It's such a shame that S3's look sooo dated, but then again at least it's a facelift.
Also sounds like you got a cracking deal, only 400 quid on top. These hold their value stupidly.
Plans sound good, coilovers though

Power is 225bhp standard so you can imagine it is quite a bit and the comfort is awesome.

Yellow stands out...
Personally don't think it looks dated atall...
Yeah they hold there value very well
Think it may already be lowered around 30mm tbh so prob wont bother, may just upgrade the shockies...
I just had a 200 odd brake cupra and Claire also has a 200 odd brake cupra, they are miles faster 0-national speed limit so its nothing to do with the turbo.... Not to mention the S3 has 4wd and has an awesome launch, think the 0-60 standard is something like 6.3 seconds?
In no way atall would I EVER go back to another little shit boxfor a daily like a saxo/106/punto/starlet.... Fast, reliable and comfy is the way forward.

Agree with all of the above ^, they do look dated and the interior is IMO god awful, and i'm not jelous, I've had much better cars than my Saxo, and i'd sooner drive the 'shitbox' too, cheap Vag' seem's the way forward nowdays. How many miles has it done?
Maybe the pictures don't do it justice, I'm sure it's comfortable to drive and with the right mods could look quite agressive.
