Cheers sam does look better wouldn't mind the rear going down another 10mm or so to match the front

Twist - I'm still under a grand which I'm pleased with since it shows you can mod and have a nice car on the cheap, I won't be going to the meet mate as I'm going to turkey tomoz till just before trax

Re: rorz_vts icelandic blue vtr daily - built and modded for

Postby rorz_vts » Sun Sep 11, 2011 7:33 pm
right just to put date ive put the car into the garage to get new droplinks, track rod ends, cam belt, water pump, new front brake lines with braided lines to calipers and the brakes setup properly and to get the Grp N lower engine mount and powerflex arb bushes and new drivers wishbone fitted. Hopefully with all the new suspension etc the cars going to be sorted handling wise and the engine and wont need touching for a while much to the missus delight

Right updates of sorts, the car got refused work on by the garage as there to busy so looks like I'm doing it , but I've got a fun update I went out bargain shopping and found this, here few pics for you. I bought the car for the grand sum of £400

The car starts, drives and locks doesn't have any tax or mot. I'm pleased to say it's a lot faster than my iTB'd vts and came a lot more modded than I thought. The mods are...
Cituning stage 1 turbo kit.
BTB exhaust system.
Mint condition half leather interior.
Smoked angel eyes.
Lowered 50mm on spax suspension.
Mocal 10row oil cooler with oil filter relocation kit.
A few gauges/timers and ice.
Wolf race alloys 15"
As you can expect it had some problems which are, key has snapped in the barrel (does still turn/start and unlocks the fuel cover) the pas pumps dead and the radiators dead.
These problems aren't a issue as I've got spares so plans are strip the mods/interior bar the alloys and the lowering kit, put standard parts on and fix the problems and sell it with tax/mot and recoup my money.

Then the Icelandic is getting treated to the boost kit, my 4pot hispecs, radiator hoses, half leather interior, boost gauges, metal gear linkages, new intercooler kit, a full service, double head gaskets and the bits it was going into the garage for. Depending on when my kms ecu sells get a pred or omex so I don't need to worry about going down the mf route

oh and i got this to play with aswel

Oh and for those of you that look and notice all the black in the engine bay it hasn't been on fire the down pipe wasn't connected to the turbo and was spitting all the fumes into the engine bay

Absolute bargain for £400, parts are probably worth 5 times that.

Be keeping an eye on this.

Fuck me mate ! You got some lush cars there !

Bargain hunter aswell haha. Fix the yellow one and sell it, i rekon you could make a good profit for it if you make it mint condition, it look like a really clean car.

It also looks like you have 3 saxos on your drive ? Fair play
