Another young driver killed
A young soldier has been killed on the A1 while driving his saxo.
http://www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/n...crash_1_664395
There are far to many young people being killed in their cars, please be careful out there.
Our thoughts must go out to the family of this young man, R.I.P

From the picture and story about tyre marks, smells like he lost the back end. Safe speed + safe manoeuvers = Less chance of getting killed.
Look at that side impact, he must have been around 100 mph. Also, look at the height of the marks on the tree. He flown in the air and landed there. Really makes me think some twattish driving was involved.

Thats awful. I spun my saxo (mk2 blue as well) of the motorway and hit a signpost side on exactly like that, and I managed to get out with nowhere near that damage. I must have been doing 80/85.
Maybe its because I spun over 2 lanes and a hard shoulder on tarmac to slow me down, but that guy must have had massive speed. I hit side on with the drivers door and as I say, door never touched me though it, roof and floor did buckle.
(and no if anyone's thinking it I wasn't being a tool, some guy in the middle lane doing about 60 decided to overtake someone in front of him just as I moved out into the outside lane behind him to overtake after signalling for a good amount of time, swerved to avoid going into the back of him and spun. He never stopped either.)
RIP.

I'm not being a dumb ass saying this. But either my eyes are tierd from work or the rear of the car is still on fire?
