Database error when searching?

Hello

Never had it before but I don't seem to be able to search as of about 7:30 tonight:

Database Error Database error
The Saxperience - Citroen Saxo Forum database has encountered a problem.

Actually it only seems to be when I search for the word VTR and have titles only selected

Maybe too broad a search?

Same thing happens for me, wierd. Dont think too broad of a search would fail, the search results would just be limited (to i think 10 pages).

Too broad a search takes a LONG time to search millions of posts and will eventually time out.

Ahh that makes sense, it times out after about 3-4 seconds so I suppose the database just knows that it's not capable of finding the results and just flags up the error straight away to indicate that

I'll see if the DB can be edited to give sensible results, whilst not effecting performance on general searches like this... later.

There are too many threads/posts which contain the word 'vtr', which is causing the problem.

Makes sense, not the end of the world Simo as I doubt I will need to search that broad again. Thought something was wrong at first
