Hi everyone,

Newbie here, but I'm not a newbie to Saxos, so I'm very pleased to have fallen across this group! :-)

I bought a red 1.1 Desire new in 2002, and had it for 16 years.
Great little car, that I always enjoyed driving.

Sold it, with sadness, 3 years ago, as I bought a VW T5 Transporter, & couldn't keep both.

I'm now selling my van and going back to a car.

And guess what I found myself buying...

A blue 1.1 Desire!!
2003, with only 24,000 miles on the clock!

Had a silly grin during the test drive!
Can't wait to pick it up on Monday! :-)

Yes, snapping it up seemed a no brainer to me!

Picked it up this afternoon and really enjoyed my 35 - 40 minute drive home.

Yes, I must admit that my T5 cost me a lot of money the first year I bought i

Though to be fair, it hasn't actually broken down on me... Yet!! And it's been trouble free and a pleasure to own and drive since that first expensive year.

But yes, hopefully the Saxo won't give me jip and drain my finances like my van did initially! :-)
