Xbox won't read discs
Right, basically put a disc in my xbox, makes this wierd noise, followed by another, then tells me to open the tray up again
Its out of warranty and just wondering what my options are?

also mines just out of warranty.
think im going for a ps3 soon

do what i did took it to game and traded it for a new one was just not reading sometimes. Do you copy your games to the hard drive? best way to play them from hd drive doesnt run hardly

Mine did this....had to go back to Microsoft and they ended up giving me a brand new one

its the laser mate in the disk reader it gets stuck my mates had this problem

one of mine did this aswell when i sent it off they said it was the dvd drive. you can get them on ebay cheap.
