Sayer I am seriously interested in seeing if it produces more power, as I have said in previous threads the cars I have driven or been in with the Raceland manifold did feel slower then without one
|
Fear not Mr Brown, I didn't fit it properly, it was blowing at the Mani/Cat joint because I was too weak to get the bolts on ok... Kwit Fit saved the day
It really runs nice now, not sure on the performance difference (certainly no worse than standard - 100% sure of that).

Ah, excellent news Ads.
I did seem a bit miffed about you losing power going with the Raceland mani.
Yeah, the stock one is really hefty.

Yeah man, I'm really not sure about the raceland other than it's saved me about 10kgs of weight... arghhhh
The rig is pretty much done, the rig is totally sturdy. I'm just waiting on one more part which will give me a lot more flexability where I can locate my camera, but that can take another 7 weeks for all I care!
Not sure when I'm next coming your way, not for a while I don't think Manicmotors said they'd sort out the lower of my in exchange for some pics so thats pretty bo.
Could always just pop up sometime and have a meet up if you fancied

Cheers man as I say this is only the second time I've had a go on it properly but as I'm getting used to it and more confident with it the results seem to improve which is cool!

aha it saved me some weight too, i do like the power delivery it gives though and when my kent cam and port and polished head is fitted in the few weeks it'll help being cammed so ill have to wait a little bit to see.
also going to be using an mls gasket thats 2.1mm rather than standard shite which should up my compression so im lead to believe mate talking to joshs bro and joshs dad
good stuff on the rig mate i love the moving shots it gives man they look epic
good shout from manicmotors there man, im sure you'll do them proud.
well if you like once my cammed heads fitted ill need to run my new head gasket in anyways so ill take a drive up to guildford if you like for pub lunch and that.

More stunning art work.
Are you going to have the calipers sand blasted and re-furbed?
