you've got to understand that 'the powers that be', are very busy people. they have loads of other things to do, don't forget we are nearing V4 which has to be constantly developed to meet deadlines. just because they haven't posted or replied to pm's doesn't mean their ignoring you. If you only sent the pm's recently, just give them time to reply and i assure you they will mate!

Whats the point of making a suggestions/improvements section if you dont take heed or at least send a curtosy pm to let people know you've looked at it? Piss, wind etc....

P.S. Certifiable is excused from this as he had the curtosy to pm back. Thanks.

Now unleash your wrath upon me you eveil moderators!!!!!!!!

I received a PM (although technically I'm not a mod ).

Why so agressive? I read EVERY thread in the suggestions forum - like most people I'm keen to see Saxperience grow and improve, and taking on board ideas and feedback from our members is an important part of this process. I don't always post (sometimes I like to let a thread run on a little before I join in - to avoid skewing the conversation).

I haven't replied yet (will look into that later). Our hawk-eyed members may have noticed that I've not been about much the last couple of weeks... My first child was born at the end of March and looking after my wife and child in these early days has been high up my priority list since then. I don't want to upset anyone, but it is true... I have a life offline!

Am I excused too? Is my reason excuse good enough?

No wrath, but perhaps a request for a little more patience and understanding. If someone doesn't reply to your messages instantly maybe they're not in a position to do so. They could be on holiday, or worse ill in hospital - who knows? Don't jump straight to the conclusion that you are being ignored.

Thanks Oli. My thoughts pretty much!

Good idea - we have something similar planned for v4.

v4 is in development and it's making good progress but no-one gets paid to do this (more patience required). Every minute I spend dealing with problems/issues is one less minute I'm spending making v4 a reality.

Following along the same theme as you...

Whats the point of posting a thread if you're not prepared/willing to wait for replies before criticising?

I have JUST read your PM. Unfortunately on the day you sent it, I was part-way through a 18 hour journey to Brussels/Holland and back.

Like my brother, Mark, I also have a life offline. It's a bitch, but my career pays the mortgage!

Please have a little more patience, some people have and will continue to wait longer for replies... thats a reality of having an extremely busy job, managing a very busy online community and trying to squeeze a life inbetween the two.

Your suggestion has been noted and has already been included in V4 and has been discussed several times before. I look forward to hearing your next great suggestion.

Thanks.
Simo

Your suggestion
