Because he and lot of people know nothing about the iPhone. Hes just read reviews and runs his mouth off like a lot of my friends have. (no offence its true)
Most ot he reviews are crap because people cant warrent the price of the phone, they cant afford it. 'why would i need all that in a phone' comments are used ALOT.
They also dont comment on a jailbreaked phone.
When you jailbreak you can installed thirdparty applicatiosn, so you CAN send MMS. you CAN play Gameboy, NES and PS1 games and do shits loads of stuff.
But reviews dont cover that

EDGE is a way of connecting to the internet. Much like 3G, however 3G is a faster way of doing so.

a Youtube Link, does it just start up Youtube in Safari when you click it?
...so if I was to get one, with an O2 GenieSim or w/e,
I wont get billed for using my home WiFi connection for the internet etc will I?

As above. EDGE was created part of the o2 network as a datacall for the iPhone.
When EDGE isnt available you can still access the net via GPRS

I havnt tried mate, i was looking at the locations of them . All seem to be in the bars/nightclubs i go to haha.
I was in 5 cloud hotspots on saturday but didnt check, plus i didnt know those places had it either lol

What the fucks a cloud wifi spot?
I was on one in Maccy D's yesterday. The wifi is ridicu-larsely fast though. Especially when you think you are loading proper full html web pages.
