LSOfreak has a spectacular aura aboutLSOfreak has a spectacular aura about
Default LSOfreak's MK1 ;) - On TV - video uploaded

Ive been a on here for over a year now and havent shown my car up to anyone so i thought i would
Started off totally standard except an alarm

BEFORE-AFTER

exterior changes:

- black meshed grill
- new number plates
- fiat punto aerial
- vts alloys
- lowered 35front /40mm rear
- had citroen sport petrol cap but standard fuel cap from scrappy is back on
- half tinted rear lights
- mk2 spoiler
- Huge 4” straight cut peco backbox with decat (love the sound but not many people like the look of it )
- new headlights as 1st ones had stone chips
- painted silver calipers
- laguna front splitter

PRESENT PIC may2010

Interior mods:

-black mats
-GTI seats
-GTI gear knob
-GTI rear door cards
-1.1 plain doorcards
-flocked centre console, glove box handle, heater vents
-crap headunit lol
-push button engine start
-depinned

So this is pretty much my car....

(last pic is with people in the back, my preffered height tbh)

Couple of inbetween pics:

Before and after lowering (standard height to 35mm/40mm)

(standard to 60mm/70mm)

Had a brand new scorpion 3.5' inward rolled backbox off a mates wrote off vtr, Also in 2nd pic bought some early mk1 lights for it before i tinted the originals

Didnt like the scorpion as its what absolutely everyones backbox looks like and sounds no louder to standard, so got a rudeboi peco
(and tinted the lights)

Also changed to white dials

Couldnt see the needles or numbers at night as it was quite a cheap kit, so went back to good old standard

Last pic of the silver calipers

When insurance/money flow gets better in a year or two, next plans
- hids
- fully smoothed boot
- widemouth bumper maybe?

Soo What does everyone think?

any pos/negative points? thanks

Just found this thread, really nice job! Picking up my silver mk1 VTR on saturday and I was looking for ideas for clean and tidy low-key mods. This is a really classy car!

Few questions:

1.1 doorcards? They look mint, which model exactly did you get them from, and can you get rear ones that are similar?

Did you get aftermarket lights or use a spray or something to tint the ones you had?

Cheers, hope to get mine looking that good!

i think another thing you could do is t-cut the rear badges it makes them black only cost you £3.50 from asda, you just have to rub at the badges for a little while.
