What is this for? It comes before it showing the miles on the odometer

Oil level is at max right now, so this is an oil level indicator ?

Yes, when you turn on the ignition it shows the Oil level.
000000 is full
000___ is half
______ is minimum
You get the idea
A rare feature in the 1.5D too!

Haha ok i get it so thats why when i was changing the oil last week and before filling the oil i turned on the ignition and i showed nothing hahaha

The sensor goes into the engine block, above and to the left of the base of the oil filter. it's like a small dip stick with 2 holes in it.
