VTSTomE - non delivery of goods
Hopefully, these thread may get Tom to pull his finger out & deliver my goods!!
Essentially on 5th January i paid £60 for a pair of OMP harnesses following this thread: http://www.saxperience.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=276027
Despite the fact he was a long term forum user & ex-member, his slight slowness to respond to pm's worried me. As such, i paid £63.50 into his paypal account the normal way ...
After 2 weeks i questioned where they were.
After 3 weeks again i questioned where they were. I got another excuse.
I was promised they would be delivered within a week. They didnt turn up.
Having managed to get his phone number, i called repeatedly and finally got through, apparently the goods were collected via DHL on Tuesday 26th February after being booked via Parcel2Go (DHL) using the 24-72HR service. Having used this service approx 30 times in the past 6 months, i know they deliver next day ... They havent turned up yet, its a work address so someone will always be here to sign for them.
I just called Parcel2Go and they have no record of any deliveries being booked to my address!!
Tom - if you are reading this, I will be filing a paypal dispute at the end of the day if no tracking number is provided. Personally i think a month is more than long enough to deliver something, i normally send stuff out the day after being paid ...
The most irritating things in all this is that:
a) It was xmas money from my girlfriend, as such i still have no xmas present.
b) The harnesses have now increased in price (by £40) if i have to buy them new.
c) I have had to cancel an MOT booking as i have no seat belts.

personally i would file a dispute today! Hope you get your goods Dave.
Tom buck your ideas up, it costs £7.04 via hdnl on parcel2go. Stick the package on the doorstep the day of collection and job done.

Just to let everyone know, i spoke to Tom at 11.30am this morning & explained my conversation with Parcel2Go. He then informed that as he had no internet & had fallen out with his girlfriend he was unable to give me a tracking number. He was however adamant that it was all booked/paid for/collected, etc.
Being a kind chap, i actually gave him the telephone number for Parcel2Go and asked him to get me the tracking no. We are now 6 hours later & there is no tracking number, despite a couple of further texts.
He has 5 minutes until 'the end of the day'.

Another phone call & his girfriend has apparently sent the goods to the wrong postcode. Correct address, wrong postcode, so they are in a DHL warehouse somewhere ... doesnt sound right? Surely the rest of the address would be enough? Especially as it is a business address?
Anyhow, he has to phone back tomorrow to find out where they are.
In the meantime, i have filed a Paypal dispute over non delivery of goods.

Good blooming point!! I forgot that, its the same kind of system as payperparcel, ie a postcode driven address search.

I recently purchased some carbon fibre wing mirrors and baseplates from Tom, although they took a long time to get here it was put down to the amount of snow that we had, had of recent. Therefore delivery drivers not being able to pick up the item.
They still got here though and in good condidtion.

Little update.
Tom just texted me. Apparently DHL buggered up & the harnesses are on there way back to him today. He's paid for another (quicker) delivery and they will be recollected tomorrow & back out to me.
Fingers crossed

Thanks Tom, from our most recent conversations i do believe the issues have been outside of your control. By the sounds of it, you have had more important things on your mind, which is perfectly understandable
