So I've got a few extras, including a big valve head, and S1 rallye box, and it's completely stripped... Could I do a 14 flat?

If a standard weight 106 can do it in 14.7, then I don't see why I couldn't shave a few tenths of that, considering mine is probably over 100kg lighter than standard... THe high FD gearbox should help too, plus I've got more power than a standard "fast road cammed" 106 / VTS due to the head work.

s1 rallyes run 14.7, lighter than the fat bastard s2
as said get it on the strip run it in reality not a guetamate on a forum.
also the s1 box may be good but may hinder you depending on how many changes you need.

Won't need any more changes than the stock box, as it will go up to 107mph @ 7800 rpm in 4th gear! ...And obviously I won't be making a terminal speed of that...

cammed on standard box will cross the line in third gear so you will have an extra change but obviously youll get higher speed quicker. if you could run 14.5 id be impressed. 14.0 i think not.

its all in the launch on the 1/4 mile. practice makes perfect so dont be dissapointed if your first run is a lot slower than you were expecting.
on the start ride the clutch and let the car strain against the hand brake, the when all the lights are on let the hand brake off and floor it, then let your clutch fully out.

I do it differently williams, but it did take me a while to get it sorted.. I actually remeba doing a 17.0 on my first even run pmsl... It just got better from there.
Toad your local when my car is ready we can go down santa pod or sumthing
