Automatic adjusters. lift the back wheel you wish to adjust by jacking the car up and chocking the other wheels, then lift the hand break and release 6x and press and release foot break 6x. Then drop the wheel on the floor.l adjustment done.
They aren’t good drum breaks at all Mintex do a upgrade kit that includes a manual adjuster and modified springs and retainer springs. Not listed for the Saxo only a 106 variant
(They’re all the same)

you dont need to jack the car up, and you definitely dont put the handbrake on, just press really hard on the brake pedal.
if anything you may need to slacken the handbrake cables off to allow the adjusters to work, if they dont you will need to strip the drum off and check the adjuster is not seized, adjust them out till you can just slide the drum over.

bizzare that, as putting the handbrake ON stops the adjuster from working at all. LOL

I've always just pressed really hard on the brake a few times and that's set them.
If you've got shite old adjusters sometimes wiggling the handbrake loosens it off, but I prefer to stick a screwdriver through a bolt hole and flick it with a screwdriver.
