I know you like yoru audio pred.... if youre getting some... make it worth gettin some and buy these: The Logitechh Z-5500's http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=SP-021-LG
Theyre fooking awesome, i only paid 200 beans not £250 like they are now, I cant explain the price increase and it doesnt make sense that they go up 25% :-s .... well supply and demand i suppose.... but there a few cheaper or slightly used sets on eBay that float around every so often
I cant remember which it was, T3 or Stuff magazine, said they rated them as good as £500/£600 pound systems, and was in their best buy section for a good few issues...
You know it makes sense lol oh and theyve got every input you could ever want :-D
If not wanting to spend that much then they do these at £105 : the Z-2300's, the 2.1 little brother of the 5500 setup.... not 5.1 but you only have to look at the reviews on OCUK .... every single review has rated 5 stars.....
**EDIT** dont think they have a digital input

Looking at the z5500s you cant really beat THX certification for a badge of quality, but they are quite pricey. If you do want this one try Amazon as they are at £215 delivered.

i got logitech x-540s (i think) they sound great.
your better off looking at home cini surround sounds. they have all the inputs. the computer ones dont. as most have the jacks (3.5mm)

Sony 850 watt system from most Currys etc. It's a 250 quid system thats retailing for about 130 at the mo. SACD too! Digital in. Upscaling. USB input. Sounds out of this world.
Only downside is not much control over bass. ...and it's not really 850 watt!

Well i think i got a bit of a bargain, always loved pioneer home entertainment products and i ended up getting this for 160 the other day
its got all sorts of inputs and outputs so very happy
Question is now for some speakers
Kef 1005.1 (1005.2 pictured but very similar)
or
Teuful concept p
Which would you have, there both awesome speakers and will match the amp/reciever very well

Stick to the Kef then. They will also be more directional due to their size it will allow you a greater degree of placement so you can angle them to give the perfect sound exactly where you normally sit.
