I'm with Virgin as well, 10meg and always seem to have around that. But I'll agree their tech help is useless - do they still have the premium number, they wanted 25p a minute to help me with the internet I'm paying them for!

I've heard good things about the BT Homehub

Cant comment, Mines free ha ha
Pick your service based on customer service, price and goodies

The equipment providing your service are preety much the same reguardless of ISP

However if you live in a fibre cabled area, things change

According to BT, (they could be lying) your connection get's faster the longer you're connected to the exchange. For example, if you reset your modem, you lose your connection and have to work your way up the line. Tbh I think this is bollocks. If it's true it's wrong.

They're OK. But I agree with what you're saying. Tbh they're very helpful when you have a problem. But, atm I seem to be having a lot. My line is noisy as hell and drop's far too much.

That's my problem. They won't replace the cable's though. Rather irritating.

lol - I'd say I'm only willing to pay 1/4 of what they're paying at the moment if they're only getting 1/4 of the bandwidth.
